The best firefighter will be selected in Minsk on September 12

The tenth international competition “Strongest firefighter-rescuer” will be held in Minsk on City Day on September 12, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports with reference to the Emergencies Ministry.

The traditional sports event is held with the support of the Presidential Sports Club and the Belarusian Federation of Fire and Rescue Sport. The tournament will be held at the site near the central gate of the Victory Park.

Together with the Belarusians, rescuers from Russia, Serbia and Vietnam will fight for victory.

Competitions will be held in the categories “Individual races”, as well as “Tandem”, “Tandem mix” and “Team relay”. It is noteworthy that the participants-girls will perform complex exercises on an equal basis with men.

Honored Belarusian artists and creative teams will also perform at the venue. Thematic photo zones, interactive platforms for children will work throughout the competition day. Organizers will also hold special competitions with prizes. In addition, active fans will traditionally have the opportunity to participate in some stages of the competition.

Starts are scheduled for 8:30. The grand opening of the event will begin at 11:00, and the closing ceremony at 17:30. There is also a live broadcast of the competition.
