The Department of Education of the City Hall of Kostroma reports that according to the results of the All-Russian competition of school museums in Moscow on October 12, the winner was Kostroma secondary school No. 38.
The school competition was held on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin by the All-Russian Society “Knowledge” with the support of the Ministry of Education. More than 4 thousand school museums sent applications for participation in it, but only 70 reached the final, including the one that was organized at school No. 38 by the headmaster of the school Larisa Reunova.
The competitive stages included excursions and lectures for six months, presentations of museums and face-to-face protection of projects.
At the 38th school, the exposition “Worthy Descendants of the Heroes of the Great Country” is based on authentic and unique materials about the combat path of the 331st Parachute and 1065th Artillery Regiments. The collected documents tell about their combat path - from formation in 1944 to participation in a special military operation. There are documents on the history of the 293rd howitzer and artillery regiment, formed in Kostroma during the war years and reached Berlin.
I congratulate the school team, students and Larisa Leonidovna on the victory. Your museum is truly worthy of recognition. You are doing an incredibly important job – keeping our history alive and keeping generations connected. Kostroma is proud of you! – commented on his VK-page message about the victory of school No38 in the all-Russian competition, the mayor of the city Oleg Bolokhovets
