Lukashenko congratulates President of Tajikistan on 35th anniversary of state independence

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself personally congratulated President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the 35th anniversary of state independence, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti news agency reports with reference to the press service of the Belarusian leader.

- The Tajik people approached the significant date with significant results: the sovereignty and international authority of the country are strengthened, the economy is growing, living conditions and creative work of the population are improving. The key to the dynamic development of the state was your political foresight and careful attitude to the historical and cultural heritage, the President noted.

The head of state stressed that he highly appreciates friendship and trust, which invariably serve as a support for comprehensive Belarusian-Tajik cooperation, as well as the foundation of a strong strategic partnership that fully meets the interests of Minsk and Dushanbe.
