Lukashenko: Investigative Committee - guarantor of protection of human rights and interests of the state

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated employees and veterans of the preliminary investigation bodies on the 15th anniversary of the formation of the Investigative Committee, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti news agency reports with reference to the press service of the Head of State.

- The high independent status given to you a decade and a half ago allowed us to raise investigative work to a qualitatively new level, and the daily activities of the Investigative Committee on Combating Corruption, Economic Crimes, Cybercrime, Extremism and other illegal manifestations demonstrate the strict observance of the principle of inevitability of punishment in our country. Your service is a reliable guarantor of the protection of human rights, the interests of the state, the constitutional order and the triumph of justice in society.

- I am convinced that loyalty to duty, patriotism, devotion to the Fatherland and the Belarusian people, along with professionalism and unconditional implementation of the law, will allow you to continue to successfully confront any challenges and threats, solve all the tasks set, while strengthening confidence in law enforcement agencies and institutions of state power, the Head of State emphasized.
