“Admiring Pskov”: a sports and local history walk for 9 kilometers will be held today
On October 18, Pskov will host a sports and local history event “Admiring Pskov”, timed to the 445th anniversary of the heroic defense of the city from the troops of Stefan Batory
On October 18, Pskov will host a sports and local history event “Admiring Pskov”, timed to the 445th anniversary of the heroic defense of the city from the troops of Stefan Batory. Participants are offered to overcome the almost 9-kilometer route - at a fast pace or in a calm walking rhythm.
The organizers of the Pskov City Youth Center identified two categories of participants:
Most of the route passes through pedestrian areas, but there are also difficult sections. At the Rattle Tower, volunteers will distribute free water. At 11:00 in the temple of the Intercession and Nativity, a commemorative lithium will begin from Prolom.
Registration starts on site at 11:30, the start of the event at 12:00. Organizers recommend arriving early to avoid queues.
