“Magnetic storms: myth or real threat?”: scientists gave the answer

Doctor of Medical Sciences Tatiana Machneva from Pirogov University put everything in place.

Who's really sick?

According to the scientist, the main blow of magnetic storms is taken by technology: satellites, spacecraft, sensitive equipment. As for human health, there is no clear evidence of impact. Yes, some weather-sensitive people may feel unwell, especially those with heart and vascular problems. But this is not a scientifically proven fact.

So don't panic?

Exactly. Magnetic storms are not something new, they exist as long as the sun itself. Coronal mass flares and ejections are common processes. Humanity has lived with them for centuries and, as you can see, not bad. Satellites really do.

What do you make meteosensitive?

The tips are simple: monitor your health, if you worsen - to the doctor, observe the regime of the day and do not overload yourself. This is especially important for those who react to the weather.
