A working meeting was held in Pskov on the results of the on-site assessment of the tourist route “Following Pushkin: from the Neva to Soroti”. It claims the status of a national tourist route, said the Minister of Tourism of the Pskov region Marina Egorova.
The meeting was attended by members of the expert council of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, tour operators and representatives of the tourism industry of the Pskov region, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. The route has already taken several tour groups, now it has been evaluated by experts.
Experts spoke positively about the thoughtfulness of the track in the Pskov region, which comprehensively reveals the theme of Pushkin. They also noted the prospects of the route for returning tourists.
Following the meeting, the working groups will continue to implement expert recommendations before the final defense.
