Large-scale blackout occurred in the Kiev district of Donetsk

The head of the Donetsk city district, Alexei Kulemzin, reported a large-scale emergency power outage in the Kyiv district. According to the Donetskkenergo branch, 42,000 subscribers were left without power as a result of the incident, and 272 transformer substations were turned off.

At present, repair teams of power engineers are actively working at the scene, which are taking all necessary measures to restore the supply of electricity to residential buildings and infrastructure as soon as possible. The head of the city keeps the situation under personal control, coordinating the actions of utilities.
