Matkapital in 2027 will exceed 1 million rubles

According to Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, from February 1, 2027, a significant increase in the size of maternity capital will occur in Russia. As a result of the planned indexation, the total amount of payments for the first and second children for the first time will overcome the threshold of one million rubles.

As explained by Golikova, in 2027, the allowance for the firstborn will reach 778 thousand rubles. If the family has already used the right to matkapital, the additional payment for the second child will be 250 thousand rubles.
