EMERCOM warned about the threat of fires in 11 districts of the Voronezh region

On Sunday, October 18, in the Voronezh region is expected an increased likelihood of fires of dry vegetation. In case of adverse development of the situation, the flame can reach residential buildings, outbuildings and other objects. This is stated in the operational forecast of the regional management of EMERCOM.

In the area of increased attention of rescuers were 11 territories. These are Borisoglebsky urban district, Bogucharsky, Verkhnemamonsky, Kantemirovsky, Kalacheevsky, Vorobyevsky, Petropavlovsk, Rossoshansky, Ternovsky, Gribanovsky and Povorinsky districts.

According to the forecast, weather conditions correspond to the III-IV classes of fire danger. At the same time, significant precipitation in the region is not expected: during the day the air temperature will be from +16 to +21 degrees, the wind will be eastern, at a speed of 5-10 m / s.

Residents of the region are advised not to leave unextinguished bonfires after rest, not to throw burning matches and cigarette butts, and also to refuse to burn dry grass and garbage. Even a small fire in dry vegetation can spread quickly and threaten nearby buildings.

If smoke or open fire is detected, you should immediately inform the rescuers by calling 101 or 112.
