The main objective of the study is to study the socio-demographic characteristics of television viewing in Belarusian society. Interviewers will communicate with residents of cities and rural settlements on the topic of television viewing.
The results will help to better understand the television audience of the country and will be used to build a television panel – a specially formed group of households with which Media Measurer studies real TV viewing. It’s about which TV channels and programs viewers choose and how their preferences change over time.
The first wave of such monitoring took place from March 1 to April 30. The second lasts from September 1 to October 30.
It should be noted that interviewers work in branded vests and have certificates. They don’t ask for bank details, passwords, SMS codes or money. The anonymity of the interview is guaranteed.
