Melitopol school No. 11 celebrated its 90th anniversary

In Melitopol secondary school No. 11, a solemn event was held on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the educational institution.

Ninety years is a significant stage in the life of the school: during this time, generations of pupils and teachers have changed, teaching methods and technologies have been updated, and the institution itself has gone from the first wooden desks to modern interactive classes. The school brought up many graduates who contributed to the development of society, and became part of a great history.

The program of the celebration turned out to be rich and emotional: the presenters introduced the guests to the key milestones in the history of the school. Especially touching was the story of students of the war years – boys who worked in factories and made shells, and girls who combined study with work in hospitals: their actions became an example of courage and love for the Motherland. The concert part of the event caused the audience a stormy applause.

Chairman of the Melitopol City Council of Deputies Irina Matvienko noted that such dates are not just figures, but a living history woven from human destinies, and expressed confidence that the school has new achievements and talented graduates ahead.

The school received a gift from the administration of Melitopol.
