Autumn Coin Week in the Murmansk region will be held from October 26 to November 7. Residents of the region will be able to exchange the accumulated coins for paper money or credit their amount to a bank account without commission. This was reported in the government of the Murmansk region.

To do this, you need to bring trifles to the branches of banks or stores of large retail chains participating in the action. Modern coins issued since 1997 and in circulation will be accepted. There are no restrictions on the number of coins and the total amount. To save time, the organizers advise to sort the coins in advance by denomination.

This action helps to return to circulation coins that lie idle for a long time in home piggy banks.

Residents of the Murmansk region actively participate in the action, which is held twice a year. Last spring, the northerners returned to circulation 291 thousand coins worth almost 956 thousand rubles. The total weight of the collected trifles was 1.2 tons.
