The Association of Managers opens the acceptance of applications for participation in the TOP-100 Russian Managers rating

The Association of Managers has started accepting applications for participation in the TOP-100 Russian Managers rating. St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region”. The project is designed to celebrate the professional achievements of managers and disseminate management experience that contributes to the development of companies, the economy of regions and the business environment.
The organizers envisaged 13 industry and 10 functional areas, including company management, finance, commerce, marketing, personnel management, information technology, logistics, legal issues and corporate communications.
Vyacheslav Evseev, Executive Director of the Association of Managers, noted that the decisions of managers affect not only the results of individual enterprises, but also the economic development of territories. According to him, the rating can help identify the professional achievements of participants, spread their practical experience and unite representatives of the business community around the tasks of regional development.
Organizers use a methodology based on the principle of “the best choose the best”. Within the framework of expert voting, managers assess the achievements of colleagues working in the relevant functional areas. At the same time, experts take into account the business reputation of candidates, their contribution to the development of the company and indicators related to specific job duties.
The rules of participation include several restrictions. Only one person can be nominated from one organization in each functional direction. The candidate must have worked in the company for at least six months, and his duties must correspond to the chosen category.
The project continues the tradition of the TOP-1000 Russian Managers federal rating, which the Association of Managers has been conducting since 2001. During the existence of the initiative, more than 19 thousand leaders became its laureates. The regional format will draw attention to the management staff of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region and present professional practices used in local companies.
The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the relevant authorities of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, as well as the publishing house Kommersant.
