The mayor of Sochi told how the resort is struggling with the involvement of young people in crime

In Sochi since the beginning of the year organized about 3 thousand preventive measures for schoolchildren and parents. They are aimed at preventing juvenile crime, countering terrorism and protecting against online fraudsters.

According to the head of the city Andrey Prosbynin, despite the decrease in the number of crimes committed by minors in Russia over the past ten years, the risks of involving young people in illegal activities through the Internet remain.

Preventive classes in Sochi educational institutions covered all students and their parents. In addition, more than 110 events were held for young people, attended by almost 7.5 thousand people.

The city authorities urge residents not to pass on passwords and codes from SMS to outsiders, not to follow suspicious links and be careful about offers of quick earnings.
