Milyaev told about the opening of the square “Meeting” near the Moscow station

In Tula, after the improvement, the square “Meeting” opened, located near the Moscow railway station. About 33 thousand residents of the city voted for the renewal of this territory in the All-Russian voting on the choice of improvement facilities. The work was carried out within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for life”, said the Governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaev.

The opening of the square was marked by a festive program with a concert and tea party. The ceremony of cutting the red ribbon was attended by representatives of the Children's Council of the construction complex of the Tula region. Previously, the guys had already tested the site, and after the completion of the work were able to assess the changes.

There are two children’s areas in the area. For young visitors, swings and a game complex "Parovoz" were installed. Also in the park there was an information screen with the schedule of trains, the art object “Meeting”, city chairs and other small architectural forms. For safety, modern lighting and video surveillance are provided.

In the course of improvement, the coatings were updated, the memorial stone was lined and complex landscaping was carried out. Another innovation was the chalk board, on which children can draw directly during walks.

In parallel with the renovation of the square in this part of the city carried out other work. We equipped the riverbed Voronka with observation platforms, repaired the sidewalk near the Tula Factory and the road along Fedor Smirnov Street, and installed decorative banners.

Earlier, MK in Tula reported that the governor invited residents and guests of the region to the military-historical festival “From Tula to Berlin” in the Tula Kremlin. This year marks the 85th anniversary of the Tula Defence Operation.
