The family of Minsk for a while allowed to live with a man who arrived in the capital in search of work. He promised to help with repairs for the provided shelter, but disappointed the owners: they lost property by more than 7.5 thousand BYN, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports with reference to the Telegram channel “Minsk Police”.

In the absence of the owners, the guest began to check their belongings and drew attention to the box in the closet. The defendant took the cash and jewelry in it and was already about to leave someone else’s house, but the hostess returned and asked for help to take her mother from the hospital. The man pretended to agree, and he fled when the woman went to a medical institution.

The suspect was found by employees of the internal affairs bodies - they were a resident of Grodno, who is 54 years old. He paid for alcohol, taxis, clothes and a place in the hostel.
