Russian Justice Minister visits Kalmykia on working visit

Head of the Federal Ministry of Justice Konstantin Chuichenko made a working trip to Elista. During the visit, he met with the head of Kalmykia Batu Hasikov.

The head of the region personally presented the Minister with a presentation on the key achievements of Kalmykia in recent years. At the meeting, Khasikov stressed that the Ministry of Justice is the main guarantor of legality and respect for law. He also noted the importance of working together with the regional department of the department to preserve a single legal space and bring local laws in line with federal norms.

The parties paid special attention to the development of the system of free legal assistance. Priority in this work is given to the participants of the special military operation, their families, as well as residents of the Antracytovsky district of the LPR. In addition, the parties discussed the introduction of digital platforms for public services and strengthening the material base of legal advice, so that legal support is available to all residents of the region.

The prospects for the creation of a forensic laboratory and justice quarters in Kalmykia were also discussed at the meeting. This will make it possible to build a more effective system of legal support and introduce the principle of “one window”.
