Old newspapers, magazines and documents from the offices of Minles Khakassia employees got a chance for a second life. The agency joined the all-Russian action BoomBatl and collected more than 100 kilograms of waste paper.
Before handing over the paper, experts dismantled the archive shelves and checked the contents of the offices. For recycling sent unnecessary documents, office paper and old printed publications. The event is held in support of the national project “Environmental well-being”.
The Minister of Forestry of Khakassia Oleg Matvienko noted that for the Ministry participation in such initiatives is associated with his main work - the preservation of forests. Even a small contribution to recycling helps to use natural resources more responsibly.
The environmental impact of collecting paper can be significant. Recycling one ton of waste paper allows you to save about 20 trees, save about 20 thousand liters of water and 1000 kWh of electricity. The paper can be recycled five to seven times.
Earlier we wrote about the fact that future foresters will begin to cook from the school bench in the capital of Khakassia.
