Minsk is amazing with its energy: Factory district celebrates City Day at Chizhovka Arena

The district holiday dedicated to the City Day of Minsk is held at the central site of the Zavodsky district near Chizhovka Arena, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

On the main site of the Factory holiday unfolded in the morning. Minchans come in pairs, families, companies. Shopping rows please with a rich assortment, barbecue is traditionally popular, but tents offer treats for every taste. There are also retail outlets with toys, souvenirs, sweets, etc.

Interactive zones, photo zones, huge coloring books, thematic installations are organized. The attention of the kids is focused on attractions, exhibition of technology. There are play and sports zones, outdoor beauty cabinets. The Red Cross conducts master classes on first aid, the traffic police and police stations offer to try on a uniform, watch the work of a service dog, play a win-win lottery and much more. Guests of the holiday will definitely find something interesting for themselves.

The head of the administration of the Zavodsky district Vladimir Shibeko gave a welcoming speech:

- I sincerely congratulate my beloved capital on its birthday! Minsk is amazing for its energy, history and people. And the factory district is a bright, characteristic part of this large city. There is a special atmosphere here – working, honest, warm, we are rightly proud of people who know how to work and sincerely love their work.

V. Shibeko thanked those who with their work, activity and care transforms and glorifies the district and the city and presented gratitude and honorary certificates of the administration to the best representatives of the Factory.

Also on the festive stage, the results of the competition for the best bench of the district were summed up. First Deputy Head of Administration Dmitry Martinkevich thanked the enterprises and organizations of the district for their participation and presented them with gratitude. A pleasant surprise was the congratulations of the winner of the contest “Beauty of Belarus – 2026” Anna Matskevich, the mother of many children wished everyone health, well-being, real female happiness and peace over their heads.

At the festival, residents and guests of the district are pleased with show performances in karting, creative teams and performers of the Zavodsky district, Belarusian pop artists. The concert program at Chizhovka Arena will continue until 20.00, festive trade until 21.00.
