Minsk has always been for a sensible policy. Gigin on the International Conference on Eurasian Security

Experts from many countries listen to the assessments of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, because he relies on deep knowledge in the issues he talks about. This was noticed by the Director General of the National Library, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Vadim Gigin on the program “Editors Club” on the TV channel “Belarus 1”, writes sb.by.

Commenting on Alexander Lukashenko’s speech at the IV Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, Vadim Gigin stressed:

- The President uses the rostrum of the Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security for such a sincere personal analysis. He even said he had never been so worried. So many experts from around the world, they all have their own view. It is worth noting that when the President left the hall, he was practically not allowed to leave. Visitors from other countries came, everyone wanted to convey something different. The President’s assessment was very important. He needed a brief, in fact, speech to convey his vision of the situation. And this is not only intuition, not only evaluation, it is knowledge. The President is distinguished by the fact that he relies on a deep knowledge of the issues he speaks about, having the most diverse information. Here just the mind, skill, experience, intuition play a big role. Therefore, everyone listens to Alexander Lukashenko’s assessments.

The guest of the program noted that the Head of State chose the main theses for the topic of the day. Vadim Gigin also drew attention to the atmosphere of the conference itself:

- It is a very open, friendly atmosphere. Public figures, many leaders of political parties, leaders of public opinion arrived. Everyone has an audience in their own country. Our opponents are trying to ignore what is happening in Minsk, but they have to evaluate their views and ideas. I would like to note that Minsk has always stood for a sensible policy. There is a tendency, albeit weak, to gradually return to the politics of common sense. At least from voters in Europe and the United States there is such a request.
