Minsk organization “White Russia” held a Saturday in the memorial complex “Trostenets”

Minsk city organization ROO "White Rus" held the action "White Rus" - decorates Belarus!" in the memorial complex "Trostenets" on October 24, the organizers told the correspondent of the agency "Minsk-Novosti".

The traditional action took place as part of a month for the improvement of the capital and brought together medical workers, teachers, industrial workers and students - only about 200 people. In the year of the 85th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, Saturday was held at the Eternal Flame of the memorial complex.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the NGO “Belaya Rus”, Minister of Education Andrei Ivanets. He stressed the importance of preserving traditions that go back to Soviet times: in the autumn, citizens traditionally gather on Saturdays to restore order, bring to proper condition memorable places and places of rest. Therefore, members of the public association "White Russia" are now in this holy place.

- The fact that we, together with the youth, together with our social activists, restore order here once again suggests that the tribute to us, ordinary people, descendants of generations of winners, will be alive just as long as we will remember the feat of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, Ivanets said.
