Minsk Metro warns passengers against ignoring safety requirements
Ignoring the safety requirements of the Minsk subway passengers is fraught not only with the early completion of the trip, but also with administrative and criminal consequences.

Ignoring the security requirements by passengers of the Minsk subway is fraught not only with early completion of the trip, but also with administrative and criminal liability - the press service of the State Enterprise Minsk Metro gave two of the most striking examples.

The press service said:
- Recently, a 25-year-old resident of Volozhin was sentenced in Minsk for illegally acquiring, storing, transporting and carrying ammunition. The criminal case was initiated after during inspection activities by employees of the security service of the Minsk Metro at the Mogilevskaya station, a cartridge was found in the passenger’s hand luggage, which, according to the expert, is an ammunition for hand-held rifled firearms. In court, the man fully admitted guilt. The court found him guilty of illegal acquisition, storage, transportation and carrying of ammunition and imposed a fine of 200 base units (9 thousand Belarusian rubles).
Unfortunately, this case is not isolated, the press service noted. A similar thing happened last year. In the lobby of the station “Uruchye” security officers of the Minsk metro detained a 66-year-old resident of the Gomel region. During a search of his hand luggage, the inspector found an object that looked like a cartridge. The forensic examination showed that the seized cartridge of caliber 5.45×39 mm is a factory ammunition and suitable for shooting. Pervomaysky ROSK of Minsk then opened a criminal case under Article 295 of the Criminal Code of Belarus. The offender was also brought to justice. The contract for the supply of 15 cars from Russia for the Minsk metro will be executed before the end of the year
