Since the beginning of the year, Minsk Fauna of the City has helped to find new owners for 1,700 animals

Since the beginning of this year, about 1,700 animals have been found in Minsk with the help of employees of the Fauna City enterprise. This was reported in the “Minsk urban housing”, writes sb.by.

In MGWH said that in October, the state enterprise "Fauna of the city" celebrated its 20th anniversary:

- Over two decades, the company has become an integral part of the city’s infrastructure, and thousands of animals have found new homes. One of the main achievements of this year, the Director of the State Enterprise Anastasia Vorobyeva called the results of the work of the temporary detention center. Since the beginning of January, 1,700 animals have been found. There are 110 dogs and 130 cats waiting for their owners.

The main activities of the State Enterprise "Fauna of the City" are the capture of street dogs and cats, emergency departure during bites, selection of injured and fallen animals, temporary maintenance, transfer of animals to new owners, as well as euthanasia of seriously ill individuals.
