The Ministry of Sport of Russia assigned Ulyanovsk sports school No. 4 the status of Olympic reserve
Ulyanovsk Sports School No. 4 received the status of an Olympic reserve institution

Ulyanovsk Sports School No. 4 received the status of an Olympic reserve institution. The basis for this was the achievements of pupils at all-Russian competitions and their inclusion in the youth team of Russia in Greco-Roman wrestling.
One of the athletes who achieved high results this year was Kamil Yusupov. At the Russian championship in Ufa, the Ulyanovsk wrestler took the prize place, thanks to which he became part of the national youth team.
Its success was one of the confirmations of the high level of training of athletes in the school. Pupils of the institution regularly represent the Ulyanovsk region at major tournaments and win awards.
Today, 324 pupils are engaged in Greco-Roman wrestling in sports school No. 4. The training of young athletes is led by 11 trainers-teachers who help children improve their technique and prepare for competitions of various levels.
Assigning the status of the Olympic reserve was a recognition of the results of the institution and its coaching staff. The corresponding changes in the official name of the school will be made by the Ministry of Sports of Russia.
The new status emphasizes the role of the sports school in the training of promising wrestlers who can further represent the Ulyanovsk region at national and international competitions.
