Metropolitan Nikodim of Ryazan and Mikhailovsky on October 17 performed the rite of consecration of bells for the church under construction in honor of Prince Peter and Princess Febronia of Murom in the village of Listvyanka. This was reported in the press service of the Ryazan diocese.
At the end of the service, the archpastor addressed the faithful with instruction, stressing that now the church will have its own voice, which will call people to the service.
“I thank all those who have worked in this good work, in the construction of these camps, in the construction of the temple. Thank you to all those who came here today to pray. And I wish you all the strength of spiritual and bodily strength for many and good summers! said the metropolitan.
In prayerful memory, Vladyka Nikodim and benefactor Oleg Vladimirovich Lyakin were presented icons of Saints Peter and Fevronia, cast in bronze at the Moscow Bell Factory - the same place where the bells themselves were made.
