Scammers profited from the desire of a resident of Polar Zor to relax and go on tour

In Polar Zorya 36-year-old woman wanted to buy a vacation ticket, but got to scammers. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Murmansk region.

In the messenger she wrote friends and advised tour. A link was attached to the message for booking and payment. The woman followed it and began to communicate with the “representative” of the travel agency.

For a whole week, she carried out the instructions of the false manager and transferred about 146 thousand rubles to his accounts. After that, the “representative of the travel agency” disappeared, and the correspondence was deleted.

The woman went to the website of this tour operator and realized that the interlocutors had nothing to do with him, and the link was fake. Then she went to the police.

A criminal case has been opened. Police are looking for those involved, checking bank details and finding out if these people cheated anyone else.

Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that a ticket to Dagestan for 45 thousand rubles left the northerner only with the horns of deceivers.
