Moscow approved the program of restoration of Donetsk for 2027
The project will include 160 facilities

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has approved a large-scale program to restore the infrastructure of Donetsk for 2027. Within the framework of the supervisory assistance of the twin city, about 160 events are planned, continuing the work started in 2022.
The comprehensive plan includes the renovation of two educational facilities, a stadium, a registry office, a center for veterans and a hospital. Special attention is paid to basic networks: it is planned to repair almost 58 kilometers of utilities. Also, the road surface will be updated at 13 sites, and eight territories are subject to comprehensive improvement.
Since 2022, the capital’s utilities have been systematically helping Donetsk: restoring social infrastructure, roads and creating new public spaces, preparing the city for winter and eliminating the consequences of shelling.
