The bridge over the Vytegra River in the Vologda region will be opened after overhaul until the end of the month

In the Vytegorsky district, a major repair of the bridge over the Vytegra River has been completed. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of this month.

According to Governor Georgy Filimonov, this bridge is an important transport hub, on the condition of which uninterrupted passenger traffic, delivery of goods and cargo directly depend. The pipeline connects the districts of the city divided by the river, settlements of Vologda, Arkhangelsk, Leningrad regions and the Republic of Karelia.

The bridge of 74 meters is located in Vytegra on Lunacharsky Street, is part of the support road network, linking the A-119 highway and the A-215 highway. It's been two years. Here, coastal and intermediate supports, span buildings and the bridge were repaired. Waterproofing, drainage and deformation seams are also arranged. The roadway was paved, barrier and railing fences were replaced, cones were strengthened. At the bridge there was a new staircase and architectural decoration of the facades.
