Bridge over Svisloch in the New courtyard will be in order by mid-November

The strategic task of the state at all times is to ensure the comfort and safety of people, whether it is the capital or a small village. Residents of the agro-town “New Dvor” sounded the alarm: the bridge needed repair. A collective letter was sent to the Presidential Administration. But the questions did not end there, because of the repair of the crossing, neighboring villages are now suffering. At the meeting, the residents were represented by the road construction organization and the authorities of the Minsk district.

Three kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road, the agro-town of New Dvor. Complaints of the locals poured river – the bridge over Svisloch could not withstand the weight of years: chipped over spans, corrosion on the valves, problems with waterproofing, and in the summer the railings completely collapsed.

We appealed to the Presidential Administration. From October 1, partial repairs went into the current phase, traffic was closed, a grandiose construction project began to boil for the first time in 58 years. And the builders respond to this – repairs on the bridge and without unnecessary disputes was planned.

Sergey Torop, Deputy General Director – Chief Engineer of the enterprise “Minskobldorstroy”: “This structure was surveyed in 2023.” No accidents have been reported at the bridge. The construction in January 2026 was included in the repair program. A reinforced monolithic, strenuously leveling layer will be arranged by reinforcement method with a thickness of 10 to 16.5 centimeters. Therefore, the layer will be arranged, a waterproofing layer, a protective layer of asphalt concrete and two layers of asphalt concrete. A technical pavement will be installed.”.

Dreams that a new bridge will appear in the New Court are already a reality, but not everyone likes it. Without a personal meeting was not done – invited those who want to speak. Some lack lighting, others lack additional buses and sidewalks.

Locals hope that the road epic will end soon. And in mid-November, they will once again gather together, but for a pleasant occasion - to open the long-awaited bridge across Svisloch. Plans for next year are to repair sidewalks and the main road.
