Museum of Mother's Things proposed to create in Karelia
In Karelia for Mother’s Day proposed to create a unique online exhibition – “Museum of Mother’s Things”

In Karelia, for Mother’s Day, it was proposed to create a unique online exhibition – “Museum of Mother’s Things”. The initiative was made by the Karelian branch of the Union of Women of Russia.
The organizers offer residents of the republic to congratulate mothers not only with flowers, but also to share stories of objects that store the warmth of their hands. The exhibits of the virtual museum can be anything related to memories: a cup from which the mother drinks tea, an old handkerchief that smells like a house, a favorite children's toy, a shabby cookbook or even a small button.
To become part of the project, you need to follow a few simple steps:
1. Find something that reminds me of my mom.
2. Take a cozy photo (for example, on a windowsill or table).
3. Write a couple of warm words about why this subject is important, and whether there is a Karelian trace in its history.
4. Publish a photo with a history in your social networks with the hashtags #Union of Women of Karelia and #Museum mother things, or send to private community messages.
Work is accepted until November 29. On Mother’s Day, the organizers will gather the final online exhibition, dedicate it to all mothers and choose the winners among the most touching stories.
