The man tried to steal money from a private house, but caught the eye of the hostess

A criminal case against a 28-year-old previously repeatedly convicted citizen who is accused of attempted theft was sent to the court, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency was told in the Partizan district prosecutor's office.

In the afternoon, the accused came to the garden association “Drazhnya” to a friend, but the house was not. Walking along the CT, the defendant saw a girl in the garden. He offered to help her for a reward, went into the yard and realized that the mistress in headphones listens to music, so does not notice him.

The criminal plan ripened immediately: the attacker entered the house, took out someone else’s purse and stole 160 BYN, and then went to the exit. At that moment, the girl noticed him. To remove suspicion, the man said that he allegedly discharged the smartphone, and he was looking for a charger.

It was obvious that the hostess did not believe him. Then the defendant took out of the pocket of trousers stolen money, slipped them to the girl and fled.

The hostess told the young man about what happened, and he called the police. The suspect was detained, another criminal case was opened against him.

- The accused has a basic education, previously he was twice brought to criminal responsibility for committing property crimes, has not removed and not extinguished in the manner prescribed by law, commented Deputy Prosecutor of the Partizan district Timur Stuzhuk. He was charged with attempted secret theft of property (theft), committed repeatedly with penetration into the dwelling, that is, in a crime under Part 1 of Article 14, Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code, the sanction of which is up to four years of imprisonment. The citizen fully admitted his guilt, repented of what he had done. A preventive measure of detention was applied against him.
