The interior Ministry urged not to believe the promises to quickly issue a passport

The interior Ministry warned the Russians about fraudsters who promise to issue a biometric passport in a few days. This is stated in the materials of the department.

The ministry explained that urgent registration is possible only for old-style passports with a validity of five years. It is impossible to obtain a biometric document in an accelerated manner.

The interior Ministry urged not to trust private organizations offering to quickly issue documents for money. Such advertisements may be associated with fraud.

Citizens are advised to exercise caution and check information about services for registration of passports. Promises to obtain a biometric document in a few days should be alerted.
