Interior Ministry: 12 phishing sites of fraudsters blocked in Belarus and operations on 48 accounts suspended

Over the past day, the police received more than 300 reports of phone calls scammers. Thanks to the efficiency of internal affairs officers and the vigilance of citizens, the vast majority of atrocities were prevented. 30 crimes committed using information and communication technologies have been registered, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus reported.

The department of the organization of processing fraudulent transactions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated the blocking of 12 phishing Internet resources - fake trading platforms, banks or services indistinguishable from real ones. The agency blocked the possibility of payments to 12 foreign payment details used by the attackers, and suspended spending operations on 48 accounts.
