In the left-bank district of Voronezh, citizens who received Russian citizenship and were obliged to register for military registration were checked. The preventive event took place on October 17 at the Alekseevsky market on Dubrovina Street. This was reported in the military investigation department of the Investigative Committee of Russia on the Voronezh garrison.
During the inspection, the department examined the documents of 12 people. One visitor of the market was taken to the military enlistment office to draw up the necessary papers.
As a result of the event, there were no violators who would be brought to administrative responsibility.
Former migrants were interviewed about legal requirements. They were explained in what time it is necessary to apply to the military commissariat after acquiring citizenship and what threatens evasion of this duty.
Two weeks are required for military registration. If a citizen without good reason does not appear in the military enlistment office, he may face a fine in the amount of 10 to 30 thousand rubles.
