At the site of the Amur Gas Chemical Complex, a technical assessment of the consequences of the fire that occurred on August 25 at the auxiliary section of the pyrolysis plant continues. Specialists will have to determine what elements of equipment could be affected, even if the external damage is invisible.
SIBUR employees and foreign contractors were involved in the inspections. As the head of the region noted, it is now important to carefully examine the equipment to establish the real scale of the consequences of the accident.
The region expects that the restoration work will not lead to a serious lag from the original schedule, and the complex will be launched as soon as possible. Further terms will depend on the results of the technical inspection and the amount of work required.
