On the basis of the educational and health center "Zubrenok" in the summer rested more than 6 thousand children

More than 6 thousand children rested in the summer at the National Children's Educational and Wellness Center "Zubrenok". This was reported by the director of the center Tatiana Osmolovskaya, BelTA writes.

During five shifts, projects were implemented for five age groups. Each program-project included a unique set of diverse events, a lot of sports and entertainment. “The main components were civic-patriotic education, a healthy lifestyle, the cultivation and formation of moral values. The tent camp “Rose of Winds” was actively working, including for participants of the local history, military-patriotic profiles. Special attention was paid to the tourist and local history profile this season, a cognitive program was developed, the final stage of which was the combined campaign “Knowing the Motherland, Discovering Ourself”. It included water, cycling and hiking routes. It was my first experience, I liked it. I think that next year we will continue to work in this direction, said Tatiana Osmolovsky.

Also among the key projects of the season is the rehabilitation and health shift “Rainbow of Hope” for children who are in remission after treatment for cancer. Thematic partners of Zubrenka are the Belarusian Children’s Fund and the Ministry of Education.

A training shift was held for the winners of the final stage of the Republican Olympiad in subjects in the preparation of Belarusian teams for participation in international Olympiads. A profile change was held for the winners of environmental and biological contests. It was held in August, the partner was the Republican Center for Ecology and Local History.

In addition, the center held six events of national significance for different categories of children and youth. Among them is the festival of labor and recreation camps “Working together, playing together, walking together to the tops.” It was the first time. Also, for the first time, the republican festival “Youth Media Space” was held at the Zubrenka venue, held with the support of the Ministry of Information.

“Traditional projects and competitions have been implemented. Many of them have been upgraded. For example, the competition of pioneer groups “From each spark – together with a fire” and the competition of children’s scientific and practical projects of ecological and biological orientation “Transparent waves of Narocha”. Despite the fact that the latter has been implemented for more than 10 years, every year it is updated and replenished with new nominations. Children do not lose interest in him, said the head of the center.

As for the international activities of Zubrenka, over the summer, almost 1,000 children from 22 countries rested in the center. Most of the guests came from Russia and China. Among the most significant international projects, of course, at the invitation of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. On this line rested 266 children from 10 countries. It was the first time we had kids from Algeria and Zimbabwe. The International Meeting of Young Firefighters was held at our site. The guys arrived for a rally and rest from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Serbia, Uzbekistan. It is nice that the first place was won by the team of Belarus, in the favorites of the team from Uzbekistan and Russia, said Tatiana Osmolovskaya.
