According to the results of monitoring for five years, the list included nine districts: Millerovsky, Neklinovsky, Semikarakorsky, Tarasovsky, Zernogradsky, Tselinsky, Peschanokopsky, Krasnosulinsky and Salsky. Also among the most fire-prone areas was Volgodonsk.
In addition, 457 settlements were identified in the region, which are threatened by natural fires. Of these, 57 are at risk of forest fires, and the remaining 400 are other landscape fires.
The authorities annually update the lists of dangerous settlements and develop measures to protect houses from the spread of fire.
For timely detection of fires on the Don working system of video surveillance. Cameras independently recognize the signs of fire and send information to the dispatcher. If necessary, firefighters are sent to the place.
