Environmental education is given special attention. During the year, students of schools and universities, as well as environmental activists participated in Olympiads, competitions and visited natural sites.
They also developed projects for the improvement of these territories. 50 winners and participants of these initiatives were noted at the forum. All events were held as part of the Creation Team Year.
As the head of the Committee on Natural Resources of the Leningrad Region Fedor Stulov noted, each region has its own unique experience and specific tasks in the field of environmental protection.
“It is important not just to talk about what has been done, but to understand what solutions can be useful to other territories and how to adapt them to local conditions. This is what requires a professional dialogue between the regions, Stulov said.
Earlier, “MK in Leningrad region” wrote that during the inspection in the Vsevolozhsky district found a garbage truck that transported waste without appropriate documents.
