In Kamchatka there was a large number of earthquakes

Over the past week, 11 seismic events were recorded in the Kamchatka Territory. This was reported in the main Department of EMERCOM of Russia in the region.

According to the agency, two earthquakes were felt in settlements with a force of 2 to 4 points. Last week, 27 earthquakes were recorded.

Five volcanoes are active in the region. Seismoactivity is assessed as background increased.

Earlier it was reported about one felt earthquake intensity up to 2 points. No tsunami threat has been announced.
