In 2026, Kamchatka completed a record volume of road repairs in recent years. Regional funds allocated for updating the road network are not planned to be reduced in 2027, the press service of the regional government reported.

This year, experts have restored more than 1 million square meters of roadway damaged by powerful cyclones. The authorities have also formed a list of priority facilities that will be repaired or upgraded next year.

Part of the work planned for 2026-2027 could not be completed on time due to weather conditions. In particular, in 2027, it is planned to complete the repair of the section of the Nachinsky state farm - Ust-Bolsheretsk road.

In addition, the next year moved the main work on several objects of the highway Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky-Milkovo. We are talking about the overhaul of the bridge over the Plotnikov River and the renewal of the section from the 265th to the 271st kilometer.
