The Governor of Kherson region Vladimir Saldo discussed with the Minister of digital development of the region Nikita Borodin and General Director of Miranda-Media Sergey Mordasov the results of the company and further plans to expand access to the Internet and improve communication.
Despite the blackouts, 110 kilometers of fiber-optic lines have been laid in the region since the beginning of the year. About 80 schools, kindergartens, libraries and other institutions were connected to communication services. Home Internet, which works even with power outages, has 18,000 residents, and by the end of the year at least 17,000 more will have such an opportunity.
Miranda-Media also intends to participate in the program of installing solar hybrid energy complexes for private homes: when purchasing and installing such equipment, the state subsidy will be able to cover residents up to 225,000 rubles of expenses. In addition, there are plans to introduce digital technologies in housing, education and transport.
The head of the region noted that this work will be supported, since for residents a reliable connection is primarily the ability to communicate with loved ones, study and solve everyday issues even in case of power outages.
