At the world final of the Global Management Challenge, teachers from the Orel region will represent Russia

Orel teachers will represent Russia at the World Final of the Global Management Challenge Strategy and Business Management Championship. In Moscow summed up the results of the 20th national final of the competitions. The team "It happens!" won, which included teachers of the Central Russian Institute of Management - Orel branch of RANEPA. This is reported in the press service of the university. 7 teams fought in the superfinal, and 39 teams participated in the national stage.

GMC is the largest team competition in strategy and business management, which is based on computer business simulation. Participants in a competitive market run virtual companies. They analyze the situation, develop strategy and make decisions related to marketing, production, finance, personnel and logistics. It is necessary to achieve the highest investment attractiveness and profitability for shareholders by the end of the playing period.

The championship allows you to develop strategic thinking, financial analysis and teamwork skills.

The competition was held in Moscow. Central Russian Institute of Management - Orel branch of RANEPA in the winning team was represented by Oleg Kozhanchikov, Ilya Shalaev, Elena Minakova, Natalia Dumnova and Evgenia Simonova, this team has been participating in the championship for 10 years.

In November 2026, Oryol teachers will defend the honor of Russia at the GMC world final. It will take place on November 11-13 in Lagos, Nigeria.
