In the Orel region in the period from 5 to 11 October registered almost 4.9 thousand cases of acute respiratory viral infections. This is 2.5% lower than the previous week. This is reported by the press service of the regional Department of Rospotrebnadzor.
The Ministry added that in the age structure of the diseased proportion of children under 14 years was 56.2%.
Experts note that the circulation of SARS-CoV-2 viruses and viruses of non-influenza etiology continues in the region - seasonal coronaviruses, rhinoviruses, bocaviruses.
