On the Oryol highways caught 24 pedestrians without reflectors
Orel State Traffic Inspectorate officers conducted a preventive raid on the M-2 Crimea and Orel-Efremov highways

Orel employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate conducted a preventive raid on the M-2 Crimea and Orel-Efremov highways. The inspectors searched for pedestrians, who in the dark move along the roads without reflective elements.
As noted in the press service of the Ministry, the place and time of the inspection was not chosen by chance: it is in the evening on suburban highways that the risk of an accident involving pedestrians increases. The police explained to the violators that in the dark the driver notices a person in ordinary clothes only for 25-30 meters. A reflector on the sleeve or bag increases this distance to 400 meters, giving the motorist time to press the brake in time.
A total of 24 violations were identified during the raid. Orlovtsy reminded that for the absence of reflectors on country roads in the dark there is administrative responsibility, but first of all this is a matter of personal safety of everyone.
