The Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Pollution Control and Environmental Monitoring and the domestic manufacturer of equipment for monitoring environmental quality parameters summed up the results of the first stage of comparative tests of the AirNod gas and aerosol analyzer. This was reported in Belhydromet, writes sb.by.

- The tests were carried out at the Belhydromet site in Minsk using HORIBA stationary reference equipment. The purpose of the work was to assess the comparability of the results of measurements of pollutant concentrations obtained using a small-sized analyzer and reference gas analyzers used in the system of state monitoring of atmospheric air.
In the period from 5 to 25 June 2026, experts conducted comparative measurements of concentrations of nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, ozone and sulfur dioxide.
- The results showed a high degree of consistency between AirNod measurements and reference equipment for three pollutants – nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide and ozone. The first stage of testing confirmed the prospects of using the product for air monitoring.
In the near future, it is planned to continue comparative tests, Belhydromet added. The next stage will expand the array of observations, further assess the stability of metrological characteristics and obtain the necessary data to analyze the operation of the equipment in different climatic conditions.
