On the Presidential bridge will change the traffic rules: what awaits motorists from October 24

From October 24, seasonal speed limits will begin to operate at the Presidential Bridge in Ulyanovsk. Motorists will be allowed to accelerate to no more than 60 km / h. The changes are associated with the onset of cold weather and the risk of naledi on the road.

At the bridge crossing the Volga will be installed warning signs “Slippery road”. They will inform drivers about the possible deterioration of traction of wheels with the road surface.

Such measures are taken annually before the winter season. Bridges are particularly prone to icing, since the roadway is cooled not only from above, but also from below.

Motorists are advised to observe the established speed limit, avoid sharp maneuvers and increase the distance to other vehicles.
