A strong cyclone hit the Russian region

In several areas of Kamchatka, the influence of a powerful cyclone is felt. This was reported in the GU EMERCOM of Russia in the Kamchatka Territory. The maximum wind strength was recorded in the village of Ozernovsky Ust-Bolsheretsky district - gusts reached 34 meters per second.

The largest amount of precipitation in 12 hours fell in the Sobolevsky district - 10 millimeters.

Now the center of the cyclone is in the waters of the Sea of Okhotsk. It has a frontal impact on Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Vilyuchinsk, as well as on the Elizovsky, Ust-Bolsheretsky, Sobolevsky, Milkovsky, Karaginsky, Olutorsky, Ust-Kamchatsky and Aleutsky districts.

In these areas, precipitation is observed from small to moderate, sometimes strong. The wind is moderate, in some places gusty.

Recall that the Emergencies Ministry of the region warned on the eve that a cyclone would fall on the peninsula.
