On the highway M-4 “Don” in the Rostov region increased the risk of accidents due to rain

In the Rostov region, drivers were reminded of the danger of driving on the M-4 Don highway during rain. The warning was issued by the state company Avtodor.

According to the weather forecast, precipitation is expected in the morning and afternoon hours of October 20. Rainy weather will also affect sections of the federal highway passing through the Krasnodar Territory.

When asphalt is wet, the grip of the wheels with the road decreases. In such conditions, the car can react more slowly to the actions of the driver, and it will take longer to stop completely. Especially dangerous are sharp braking and changing lanes.

Avtodor advises motorists to take into account weather conditions, avoid sharp maneuvers and maintain a sufficient distance to the transport ahead.
