On the streets of the Kaliningrad region will go about 50 new buses

The Kaliningrad region will receive about 50 new buses on gas engine fuel. They will be used on urban and suburban routes.

More than 1.6 billion rubles were allocated for the purchase of environmentally friendly public transport to two regions (Kaliningrad and Nizhny Novgorod regions).

The new buses will make travel more comfortable for passengers and increase the reliability of transportation. In addition, gas engine fuel will reduce emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that domestic equipment should be delivered in the coming months. He instructed the heads of regions to monitor compliance with deadlines and requirements for deliveries.

Earlier we wrote that a new bus route will be launched from Kaliningrad to Warsaw from October 19.
